Our Story

Hanningfields is an established antique auction house and has a long history first establishing it’s roots back in 1926 with it’s founder Mr A Bilkus.

Originally located with it’s outlet within the old Portobello Road Antiques District in the West of London where it thrived for over three decades serving both the public and trade sales and the management of customer pieces through auction consignments.

Due to redevelopment and closing of the original Portobello Road Antiques District in the early 1990’s Hanningfields then relocated to it’s current location in Hatton Garden the renowned jewellery district of London.

Hanningfields prides itself on offering a public free of charge valuation and appraisal service. We are always on the look our for any items someone may want to sell and by consigning to our auction is the best way to unlock the true market value, due to our both local and international clients which bid from across the globe.

We pride ourselves proving a professional and easy of use service with our locations in both central London and Chelmsford, we also offer a home visit service where our valuers are more than happy to see you in the comfort of your own home.
