Our Story

Hanningfields is an established trader within the Jewellery and Antiques sector and has a long history first establishing it’s roots back in 1926 with it’s founder Mr A Bilkus.

Originally located with it’s retail outlet within the old Portobello Road Antiques District in the West of London where it thrived for over three decades serving both the public and trade offering retail sales and the management of customer pieces through auction consignments.

Due to redevelopment and closing of the original Portobello Road Antiques District in the early 1990’s Hanningfields then relocated to it’s current location in Hatton Garden the renowned jewellery district of London.

Hanningfields prides itself on offering a public free of charge valuation and appraisal service. We are also in constant need of new stock for both our retail outlet and also lots for our auctions which means we provide the opportunity of a direct sale to us.

We pride ourselves proving a professional and easy of use service, that covers not only the local areas of Essex, London and surrounding counties, but also nationwide with our regular valuation days which are attended all over the UK.
